HOUSE CULTURE: We’re quiet, clean, and respectful... .
We’ve all accepted that our place is just an indoor hotel for people who are busy living their lives elsewhere and who thus rarely cross paths in the apartment. Though we’re all friendly and good at having conversations, it rarely happens with each other in the apartment. We chuckle about the fact that we barely know each other, but we’ve accepted that that’s just the way it is. So, if you’re looking for a lively social life or for roommates who will broaden your social circle, we’re probably not what you’re looking for.
Additionally: - No drugs or alcohol in the apartment - No sexual activity in the apartment - No pets
SENSITIVITIES Temperature: Ee typically keep the thermostat at 68-70F.
Cooking: We love a roommate who doesn’t regularly fill up the house with strongly fragrant cooking smells. Once in a while is ok, but if it’s regular it can trigger some annoyance.
Living Room: One of our bedrooms is oddly located practically right inside the front living room, and even when the door is shut, that roommate can hear everything that goes on in that room. So just be sure to communicate with that roommate before doing something noisy in there, or before trying to have a serious/private interaction with someone in there.
We love preserving it as a shared open space for everyone to come, take breathers, and get a change of scenery from time to time. So please don’t highjack it by treating it like your own personal office space on a regular basis.
Storge Space Very limited storage space. We use loft beds to fit our extra storage in our bedrooms and would expect you to also find ways to keep your extra storage in your bedroom.
Common sense everything else is just common sense—Don’t make excessive noise, use headphones for your music/media, maintain good hygiene, clean up after yourself, respect other peoples’ belongings, etc.
