Downtown Commons I is located in the beautiful historical Avenues neighborhood (D Street & First Avenue) and was formerly used as University of Utah off-site dorm housing, along with our sister property Downtown Commons II (South Temple location) just 3 blocks away at 43 S 400 E.

We are the new owners/managers have renovated the building with a fresh, modern look.

We also offer group housing and if you have group of 4 this works for you too, or group of 2 and we can find another 2, or if you have 3 , we can find another 1. Or if you want to take the whole apartment unit to yourself that works too!


People who want affordable private rooms in a high-demand location, perfect for U of U, Neumont, Ensign and any other college students in the valley here! As well as downtown professionals and young adults who won't mind co-living and be able to live in affordable places that are updated and nice!

* No credit okay as many are students, co-signer okay, financial aid/savings all okay too
