Room can be furnished with a bed and side table or not if preferred. There is ample storage... in the basement, a garage if you need a bike stored.
Utilities are included, Wifi, wood floors, large closet, access to kitchen & laundry room, front porch, small secure back yard, and easy street parking. The bathroom is on the main floor which you would mostly have to yourself. Bus stop to the U is an easy walk.
**Animal lovers are a must! I have two cats and one little sweet dog. If you are willing to watch my two kitties when I travel out of town it is a big plus.
There is also a small room available next to this room for $650 that has a large closet and wood floor.
About me: I am a retired high school art teacher with three adult children who have moved away from home. I'm home most days unless I'm out of town or in my art studio. It is important that the person renting the room is responsible, clean, quiet, and focused on their studies and work.
Lease is flexible, can be month to month. 30 days notice is preferred.
